1. I know that solar energy has positive social benefits but is Solar Energy in New Jersey Affordable ?
Right now their are many incentives in the state of new jersey for installing a solar energy system.
Of course solar energy is good for the environment but it makes economic sense as well!
The calculations vary depending on your location but typical calculations show a payback
on investment time of <10 years. After 10 years you are in the black.
2. How Long will my system last? How Long is it before the system must be replaced?
An installation will need periodic replacement of certain parts. Solar panels typically last for more
than 20 years. Replacement is required on smaller parts. A solar energy system should last around
25 to 30 years
3. What are the disadvantges of solar energy?
The major disadvantage is that the start up costs are initially high.
The NewJersey Clean Energy program does provide interest free loans for qualified individuals.
Up to 20,000 dollars and the energy saving must be >25% to qualify.
